IF you mean, as you unlock the door, the solonoid is going "clunk" but the door is still not unlocking/locking then.....

the reason mine were not working is because they get sticky inside the solonoid.
you remove the central locking solonoid and pull it open, remove the motor and spray it liberily with wd40, the motor will be spinning if it is connected to a battery and as it frees up, it gets faster.
I fixed all 4 of mine this way and now it is fine.

just to let you know the way they work, inside the solonoid is a motor which spins one way for lock and the other for unlock, this in turn drives a geared system that pulls or pushes a pin up and down.
when the motor loses its power (gets sticky) it cannot pull or push the pin strong enough.

I found this out by removing the solonoid and testing it out of the door but still connected, if it moves up and down slowly (or with encouragment by pulling it or pushing it slightly) then it can be repaired.
