MKII Megane Subframe bolt threaded

Right so the back story:

Moved house and didn't have the time the fit the wishbone that i new would fail my mot so took it to my local garage who to be fair ive always had good experience with. They fitted the wishbone however i was told that a bolt threaded and theyve tried everything they can to sort it but without using a tap and die they carn't fix it. So i said tap and die it then and they said they carn't/won't. Im not upto arguing about it with them as they've helped me out in the past and i do believe it to have been just one of them things. Nonetheless ive still got this to sort out.

The bolt in question is for the arm that goes from the end of the subframe where it bolts to the radiator support and upto the car, the end where it bolts to the car.

and the bolt

Im sure you can work out which.

So what on earth do i do now?

Ive used a tap and die before but the location on the car looks quite tricky and i don't have a tap large enough. I don't even know what size bolt it is to buy the required tap.

Any and all help greatly appreciated guys n gals
