thanks madnoel, left it to the experts, my local Renault garage have replaced the pads and discs. Cars only done 16k miles and one of the discs looks like the surface has delaminated if that's possible. Anyway £274 pounds lighter but now got nice shiny new discs fitted and assured that calipers are not seized.Bit strange why its happened.

The front discs do not
have bearings but the rears do.
For the rears it is best to buy the discs complete with bearings and reluctor rings.
