I have entered the world of 'Classic Car' ownership......(there is some argument over an X1/9 being a classic......)

One of the main reasons that I decided to get one was back in the summer,I stayed on late at work and had to drive my bosses TR6 into the workshop to lock it in.My 4 year old son was there at the time, and he got in the TR with me.As soon as he got in,his face lit up.The hood was down, and he was amazed with it....I will never forget the look on his face!.This made me want an open top car so we could go out in it in the summer, but I couldn't find anything cheap enough that fitted the bill, until I started looking at X1/9's.The bonus with it is that it's only got 2 seats,so we'll have to leave Mummy at home!!!!!!.

It is definately a labour of an investment it's pretty much a non starter.I know my car is never going to worth an awful lot,but it is MINE!.

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
