2004 Clio ABS fault
hi all i wonder if someone could shed some light on a problem i have on my girlfriends car.
when reaching speeds of 50mph the ABS and service lights come on, their is also an audible alarm beep when the brake pedal is pressed and a clonking sound, which i cannot determin whether its coming from the front or the back
i have fitted new front discs & pads, however, although they were in a bad state has not elivitated the fault.
now, i was going to fit new rear shoes but as yet havent because last year i fitted new rear wheel barings and noticed the drums were not the best so thought i would order new drums & fit them then.
also, whwn selecting reveres gear the fog light lights up on yhe dash and this also triggers this alarm beep. the beep is coming from the rear by the sounds of it. it does have warning sensors on ghe rear bumper.
also when travelling at motorway speeds there is viabration coming through the steering wheel.
so has anyone else had this problem and was it resolved easy enough?
