What year is your car, I think it is to new for me to much electronics, I remember driving a 3 year old one light met blue, I think it was O.K, If you keep the replacement parts cost under control it should not lose value but that's not what owning/driving a classic is about, A lot of cars called classics today people could not wait to get rid of them in their day, unsaleable but time changes peoples views, Also in today's disposable society its good for people to see working/ usable models of things gone before instead of just books & pictures.
