Re: Toxic Warning Light - Intermittent

Hi all.
New member here looking for info to Toxic Fume light problem that appears to be a common problem on Clios of certain years. Ours is a 2003 Dynamique bought about 2 months ago. Had the timing belt and oil changed and now the Fume light has come on steady. No loss of power though so far but engine hunts a bit on idle at start up, but ok if you drive off and engine warms.
I have cleaned the throttle body valve, replaced air filter, inspected/cleaned accelerator pedal fly by wire box which looks ok, reset the fault which was a DF106 Catalytic converter functional fault but after 200 miles of driving on all road speeds, light is back on. Was thinking of changing coil leads and plugs as the next solution but getting restricted now on what I can spend on the car as it is building up. Anyone got any advice for the DIY man??
