Yep,as Horatio says,you can remove and refit the airbag without getting the system checked by Renault,but you do so at your own risk.

I've done this hundreds of times on many different cars and never had a problem,but you have to remember that the airbag is an exposive device and as such,should be treated with respect.....In my mind though,you sit in front of this explosive device for hours and hours,and it doesn't go off by accident,so why would it when you disconnect it????

These are my thoughts and not the forums,please make your own mind up and act on your thoughts and not mind,blah blah,respect health safety etc etc etc,don't smoke,drink,have sex and certaintly don't drive too fast.Don't shout at your mother in law because she will always get you back at a later date,please don't have nightmares and sleep well,etc etc.

(Thats my ar$e well and truly covered)

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
