I just off loaded a 05 plate 1.5DCI, miss it like mad it was a nice comfy car. Our main issue was the Electric Parking Brake which is very sensitive, had warning about a while back but it needed a new car battery which sorted that. Last straw was when it stuck on and took ages to release. Mine was serviced to the Reno shedule but I also had the oil and filter changed at the half way mark. Also ensure correct oil is used, Reno quoted Semi Synthetic but local garage used fully synthetic. At the end of the day they aint brand new cars so they will break. I was talking to a friend today and he's just got rid of his Passat because the electric brake was causing problems. So it isn't just Reno's.
