UK`s biggest rip off
as am 38 now, i remember buying petrol/diesel in gallons.
would you put up with the price discrepancies from one petrol station to the next?
this morning on my way to work, one petrol station was selling diesel at 80.9p per litre, the next selling at 83.9p
now 3p doesn't seem like much, does it?
if it was gallons we would say hay what the hell.
but as 4.5L to a gallon it seems more important to shop around.
so how much do you lose?
3p per litre more,
is about 13p a gallon more!
if we was still in gallons, would you shop around?
or just accept it?
16.78L at 83,9 pence per litre at £20
16.18L at 80.9 pence per litre at £20
as i put £50 per week in my car the extra 3p would cost me 2.5 litre so about 20 miles a week extra
times that by ave 48 weeks per year is just short or 1000miles.
me and a mate at work were discussing it,
sucks don't you think??
funny when i went to France in June, my fill up in the UK costs me £55 from empty-ish cost me £38 in France.
make you wonder don't it!!
