Bought a 2004 Grand Espace privately last week on a bit of a whim for £1500,
I want to use it for transporting bicycles and if you remove the 5 rear seats it should make a decent van.
It has done 80,000 miles 9 months MOT and seems to run OK, but was overdue for a service, so that's where it is today.
I use Fast Fit in Milton Keynes and have done for several years.
So now the bad news, apart from the normal items included as part of the service, it needs a diesel filter, pollen filter, synthetic
, a new catalytic convertor as the old one is damaged, track rods ends and other steering parts, plus other bits.
The bottom line is it is costing £935.50, so not the bargain that I hoped it was going to be.
I am optimistically hoping after that lot I will get a couple of years out of it without too much extra outlay, time will tell.
