In the last 12 years (between my wife and me) its been mainly Renault, ... Espaces and a couple of Clios. Yes there have been issues, some horrific some minor , but the dealer has been pretty good over the years, yes there have been stamping feet and tantrums, but everything has been sorted, some dealers are better than others, same with the RCS agents.

The cars are loaded, different, stylish, or should that be individual , but compared to others we have had they fit the bill and thats why we keep buying them.

The only other make that we've been happy with over the last 27yrs has been Volvo, an 850T5+5R, 240GLT, 360GL, and that was because of the dealer, nothing was ever too much trouble and everything was fixed without fuss, although the prices looked like part numbers.

I wish I could have said the same about ...

Ford - Escort, Mondeo ....Oh dear

Vauxhall - Nova, Corsa, Cavalier, Vectra ...%$@@ing crap the lot.

Volkswagen - GolfII & III, Passat great to drive but dismal dealers and build quality.

Mercedes Benz - C220 Coupe - Dealers and MCS dont give a Sh1T

Life is too short ... Renault are really not that bad ... honest

Oh .. and before anyone asks ... I DONT WORK FOR RENAULT or in the motor trade.

just my 2p's worth.

Why is it the older I get .... the better I think I was ?
