Yes, providing you take all the safety precautions.

You will need to compress the srping to remove it from the suspension strut and compress the new one back on.

The spring is under tension and can be a lethal weapon, a projectile basicaly, if something goes wrong.

I would always recommend getting it done at a local garage, shouldnt be no more than an 1.5 hours labour plus parts and VAT.
