The younger people are not just being blamed for the sake of pointing the finger at them - the statistics PROVE they're more likely to be involved/cause in an accident. Please don't interprate this as an anti-youngster campaign, it isn't.
I never passed my test until I was almost 19 ( and only because my garage manager reminded me a mechanic with no licence was no use to him !) and never considered myself to be a good driver until I'd survived until the ripe old age of 25. Yes I had a few minor scrapes in that time, but nothing serious, and since then ......... nothing !
Raise the age to at least 21, then put them on a probationary period with limits on speed and number of passengers and maybe then we might see some of them survive into their late 20's.
