You could have just been on a greasy bit of road, or
could have a power steering fault, did the wheel feel
heavy or light to turn? had you just gone through a big puddle? sometimes if you do the power steering belt
gets wet and slips, this is usually felt through the wheel as a jerky movement as you turn.

Who would design a vehicle that falls over when you stop?
