FM transmitters (or modulators) are an option, although probably are not your best option.
I believe you can get an adapter from somewhere like Halfords, Motor World, or any other car shop. These adptors plug into the stereos CD Changer connector on the back, and fool the stereo into thnking one is attached and allow audio input from any audio source.
Some adaptors allow (i believe) you to control your ipod from your steering wheel controls, whereas others, like mine, is just for audio input, therefore you'd have to change tracks using the ipod itself
Obviously this is not really an option if you already have a cd change hooked up. Your local Halfords (and most probably other shops) will easily be able to tell you if an adaptor is available for your stereo. Mine (for my Laguna II) cost around £30 and works spot on.
