Hi Steve,

Just serviced my car last week, I use Magnatec 10/40 oil as reccomended by Castrol, do not use 20/40.

When I serviced it last year, soon after I bought it the air filter and pollen filter and their casing were full of leaves so should check them.

You will need a 8mm square plug to undo the sump drain plug.

I also checked the gearbox level, no leaks but it did take about a tea cup of oil to fill.

Haynes manual will help. Gives a more realistic servicing schedule than Renault, if you look through this forum you will see that everone reccomends oil and filter change at half of what renault reccomend.

I cannot remember the size of spark plug socket, I know I had to take a new plug to halfords to get the correct size, it is quite small.

Good luck, Dave.
