Hi outhtere, nowthis is going to cause a rumpus- Ive been driving for over 30 years (old f*rty) most of which has been fords and vaux;s. never a prblem that cant be sorted with a cable tie , bit of tape or a jubilee clip, the only warning light interupting my motoring enjoyment was "hand brake" "headlamp" or "low fuel".
I now have a Clio (RSi) superb!! goes like the whatsitt and has ever electronic extra every Ford owner ever dreamt of(but never got)
BUT WHY does every Renault owner spend most of his/her spare time trying to fathom out why various warning lights are trying to spoil thier day, why silly faults are impossible to fix and why is the engine / transmission not doing what it should do.
All this on top of Renault "Specialists" who are waiting on the side lines ready and willing to plug your pride and joy into a electronic piggy bank to confirm your fears that this one is going to cost a helluva lot more than the aforesaid cable ties, tape or hose clip!!!!
Currently in frog's garage:
Renault Clio 182
