Hello and welcome to the forum.
The cambelt is easy enough to do,abd you don't have to remove the engine,but if I were you I'd invest in a manual.
Trouble is,I suspect that you may have damaged some of the valves,so putting a new belt on it will be a bit of a waste of time.I'd be tempted to remove the cam cover and checking the valve clearances.If any are way too big,then I'm afraid it's 'off with it's head'.
