Interior Ultrasonic alarm sensor
Car: Renault Grand Senic II 2007 model
Hoping someone might be able to help on repair.
There two interior ultrasonic volumetric alarm sensors in the boot of the car, which detect movement if the car is broken into. One of these was knocked off when loading the boot with stuff.
The cable is still there just the sensor needs replacing.
Thinking sensor is similar to this: http://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/ultrasonic-proximity-sensors/2370799/
Renault said part about ~£50 + ~£210 labour as part comes with full wiring. But I don't need new wiring if I could just resolder connection to new part.
Thoughts? Has anyone replaced this part themselves?
