Hi folks,
my wife has an 05 plate Megane 1.5DCi.
Her front driver's indicator bulb seems to fail every 3- 5 weeks.
Any ideas on the cause?

Dirty/loose/corroded contacts or dirty contacts on the relay(all I can think of).
Since its only drivers side.work from the bulb contacts there backwards, making sure each bit looks clean/has good contact.

Thanks for the reply.
A bit surprised that a poor connection could cause a bulb to blow. I'll check it out. Thanks.

Any poor electrical connection can cause voltage fluctuations - no electrical component takes kindly to such.

As the indicators are difficult to access, I usually send my wife to halfords to get them fitted!
I decided to investigate from the bulb back as directed. As I looked at the bulb through the lens it looked perfect...
I removed it and the filament was totally intact and there was no soot.
After a fiddly refit, it all worked again perfectly. I suspect it wasn't fully twisted back into place.
Still, FIXED. :d
Thanks for the replies.
