Bulb and fuse are both ok, however the rear foglight is not lighting ..... has anyone experienced this problem, is there a simple fix, any suggestions?
Follow the wiring backwards and use a 12v 21w test bulb as you go.
Other "who cares" info
On mi meg 3.
rear fogs only work qith at least sidelights turned on.. some models may need dipped beam on.
The rear fogs will go out ..all lights will when drivers door is opened.
If sidelight switch is left in the on position, side lights will come back on when car is started.
Front or rear fogs wont even if they had been on when car was stopped.
Thats because the switch is conditional.
Ie flick it forward when sidelights are on and front fogs will come on(same for back)
.
Having sidelights lit on restart of engine wont turn fogs back on if they were on before..
I mean there may be more than just the foglight circuit involved.,
Does the car have a tow-bar? When correctly wired, there are contacts in the 7-pin trailer connector that will disconnect the fog-lamp on the car when a trailer is hooked up.
