    Hi bud.

    Got a 52 reg Trafic 1.9dCi

    The Lefthand Trafficator comes on without using switch.

    It is really random, had ignition on all day today and NOTHING.
    Then just as I was packing up to come home the bloody thing started flashing.
    Unplugging the Switch does not stop it.
    I have replaced the Hazard switch, it was knackered anyway.

    Any Ideas?

    hi rentech, i have noticed from looking at several questions you have answered, that it comes across to me that you have good knowledge in the espace v6. I have a renault espace 3.0 v6 auto on a 1999 plate i had problems with non starting which ended up being the ecu damaged by water but after replacing the ecu i took car for a drive and car cut out when i accellerated quickly, i pulled over turned car off and restarted, car seemed fine apart from noise started coming from gearbox and keeps losing gear but if you stop and restart car it finds gear straight away, but you get 5 min up the road and it loses gear again. i would really appreciate if you could let me know if you have any thoughts on this problem or not. thanks alot, Keith

    Hi Rentech is there any way i could post a private message to you as i got news about my Scenic but dont want it on public as i think this is going to get nasty with the company who sold me the car, i had lots of news today after it went into main dealers.let me know if there is any way this can be done, you will find this of interest.i dont lol

    Hi Rentech - Excavator pointed me in your direction as you might be able to answer this. Just had a diagnostics done on my 04 reg Laguna 2.2 dci at an independent garage specialising in French cars as it was pretty rough and shaky on tickover. They reckon all the injectors need overhauling at £135 each and the top engine mounting needs changing (£85 for the part). They say that the injectors will need recoding on the computer afterwards and the engine mounting has to come off to do the injector job so they won't charge me any labour for that bit. Can't help thinking they are having me on as I can't see why the mounting needs to come off and I can't find anything anywhere that says the injectors will need recoding - maybe they are trying to stop me doing it myself as they quoted well over £800 to do it. What do you reckon, having me on or not?
