Reset Engine Management Light

I have a year 2000 Renault Scenic which I bitterly regret.

I promise I have searched for over an hour on this site to see an answer for my problem but can't see any answers that helps me.

I have had my car to the garage 6 times with the engine management light on and they say there are no error codes and they reset it (£60 a time). About 2 or 3 weeks later it pops on again. It;s getting very tiresome.

Is there a way to reset this light myself?

Many thanks
Kevin

Kevin i only know of a couple of faults which can come and go on this model, if 16valve petrol and it's been fitted with NGK spark plugs, on this year will cause interferance with the coils bringing all kinds of codes. Also if it has got climate controll the drain of for the evaporator drips onto the down stream oxygen sensor wiring gets into the connector then rots the wires all the way back to the injection computor.
