depending how risk adverse you are, you could always change the oil then get some more if it isnt enough? Or buy from somewhere you can get a refund if you have too much....
Tech specification of owners handbook should also tell you though
I've never known a car to take the full whack of oil that the manual suggests, as there's always a fair bit of residual stuff left after draining unless you have an industrial oil-slurping device.
I'd buy in a 5L bottle, and a 1L one for top-off reserve (always handy to have one of those about anyway). If it says 5.5 litres, drain the old stuff, change the filter, replace the sump plug, then dump in all but a little of the 5 litre bottle. Let it settle, wipe off then re-check the dipstick, and finish that bottle if necessary. In extreme circumstances you might need to break the seal on the little one as well
