there should be an attachment on this thread, its a photo of the part i'm talking about. as you can see, just below the elec connector, theres a thing, that looks like a vacuum pipe goes on to.

I hope you've got it sorted now! But I thought I'd just add this in case, like me any one else is searching with out help!
I'm fitting a new turbo to my new Laguna and also noticed the lack of vac pipe on the solenoid valve
After hours of searching for a diagram or info on how the vac pipes are routed, I had an idea! Quick check on autotrade and viola one at a traders a couple of miles away. So off I pops and would you believe it thats the same???? So it seems its the norm!!! I just cant understand why
I'll do some more digging and post any info and try and get some pics for future reference.

The black cylinder behind the inlet manifold is a vacumm reservoir (tank). Its vacuum is generated by the vacuum pump on the end of the camshaft - one pipe in. As far as I remember there should be two outlets - one to the turbo solenoid actuator and another to a solenid (located just beside the tank) which activates the stop damper valve.
