Renault Scenic 1 - Boot Lock Button Fix

Hi I have managed to get the button off thank you and found that a little gold metal springy thing had dis lodged its self after fixing this I found that the boot mechanisum would work when open but when I shut it it would not work. I then took the lock apart n believe that the plastic thing that turns a clog might b Brocken as it keeps coming away from the clog. Can u help with this pls

Newbie Here with a similar problem on my wifes scenic see picture below of part required any help greatly appreciated, Happy to purchase rear hatch complete actuator if parts not available individually who knows a supplier that will deliver to Australia??

Attached to the button is a bar which goes down to the lock to release the boot.

So in a way the the boot does not actual lock it justs deactivates the boot button from being pressed in to release the boot. If some one has pushed it hard whilst locked the o ring can come off and the button falls out.

A new button kit from renault is £57 plus vat and comes with a black button and a primed button.

i know im dragging an old thread but, does anyone have a link to a diagram of the said locking bar/motor as above, as my motor clicks/clunks when operated but my boot door doesn't lock, the button is in place and it opens and closes ok. regards kev

Likewise with Tazzi.
My boot does not lock with the central locking (Fob operation) but locks OK if I physically use the key in the Boot lock.
Loose wire.......or something more sinister?

I have a sightly different problem to this -- I have just bought a 2001 renault scenic but the button is jammed in, and hasn't fallen out. In fact, I cannot get it out. I have discovered I can open the boot from the inside by using a flat bladed screwdriver to lift a little button that then opens the boot.

So, I am wondering if this requires the same fix -- the O ring. Or has the entire mechanism seized?
