I remmember them HOOCHY,we used to use them under the concrete floors to stop the frost doing the concrete in ,in the winteralways nice and warm where they were..

Looks a bit disappointing in action.
I thought maybe the wheels would fold up into those arches (Bond's lotus esprit) and then maybe jet propulsion(water jet) from the central tunnel.

Actually just a paddle boat. with front wheels as rudders.

Paddles also would have to be fitted just prior to taking to the water, and taken off before going back on the road.

A bladed/scythed wheel on yer chariot might have been usefull in roman times .It wouldnt be too popular with pedestrians or the local constabulary either
