Hi, I wonder if anyone can help; yesterday switched car on (Jan 2005 Espace 2.2 DCI Auto) and noticed the heater blower fan was not working!
A few things that might help diagnose:
- the fan does work at any speed
- I can't hear any clicks when fan switch is operated
- the air conditioning will not switch on now
- the car is freezing inside, doesn't even warm up on a long journey (did 40 miles in it yesterday)
I've had a quick hunt around the forum and some suggest it could be the fan control module, the resistor or the blower motor itself.
Which of the above does it sound like it might be, or could it be anything else?
... and if it is either the fan control module, resistor or blower motor, where are they located, how are they accessed and how can I test them?
Thanks
