Air Temp Sensor

Hi Folks,

I have a Mk 1 Megane 1.4 on a "Y" plate. I don't know if it's due to the exceptional cold weather or not but my outside air temp is reading banana's. Scraping frost off the windscreen this morning and the temp reading is 60 Deg C!!!! What's that all about? I can only assume the sensor is not well. Does anyone know the location of this very sick part as I intend to amputate it at the earliest opportunity.
