master 2.2 dti timing marks on crank please HELP ME

A garage did the timing belt with all the timings tools at least 6 times, still not running. When i took it to them it was running but the tensioner was very noisy. Can you please help me?


Hi i have a 52 plate 2.2 dti MASTER and the timing belt and tensioner was very noisy just after some info on how to re time the crank and the cam thanks. I had someone to do it but hers f--k it up, I bought a manual on eBay but on that it tell me that there’s a mark on the crank pulley, on my one there’s no mark on it. Is there any one out there how can HELP




Garage told me that there is it least 4 possible holes in the crank to lock it up, how can i check its TDC

Is it not running or running rough?
Easy way to find tdc is a screwdriver down one of the injector holes. Turn engine by hand and when the screwdriver is furthest out of the hole, you have tdc.

the engine is not running
the garage sprayed some think in the air flow meter and then it run very badly and smoked, it would not rev or run without the spray. Diesel is up to the injectors

I`'m aware renault master has a 2.2 dci engine but is not aware of a 2.2 dti i know the master has a 1.9dti engine can you post your engine code to verify
