Unhappy Scenic new battery & radio code problem

Well it seems that I'm joining the many with a radio code problem with people that have Scenics...I read through the forum to see that no one seems to have an answer,I had a new battery fitted and the fitter at Kwikfit was happy to walk away when I mentioned radio code...he must have known something.....I have gone through all the proceedure as stated in the instructions put the code in as noted in the book....and all I get is CODE at the finish...the code in the book is obviously NOT the one for the radio....is there no one with a constructive answer other than...when the battery is changed....get a new radio ???? has anyone cracked it yet ???

Hi again.

The important thing is the press and hold at the last stage
to input the code.

if you input the wrong code you should get "error" on the display, and have to wait a while before you can try again.

Angry Sorry Glen but it doesn't work

Hi Glenda,

Yes I know all that and as I said that's the proceedure I've followed....this is a 22DC279/ radio/cd and it seems even the 'get your radio code from me now' type people can only crack it if you send the radio to them....guess what the price is ??????? if Rover had turned out something like this I could have believed it......so once again I thank you for your input...but have to say...looks as if no one can come up with an answer....I've just looked through the forum to way back...and I see that no one has answered this with success.
