Re: BEST TYRES for SCENIC?

try and avoid Continentals, they give a very smooth ride but the outer tread wears out within 8 - 10k miles.
Currently in 110723's garage:
2008 Grand Modus 1.6 Automatic

As will all tyres if the car is out of alignment or the tyres run at the wrong pressure. Dismissing Conti's because this unfortunately happened with you is a bit unfair. I've found Barum Bravuris to be a good compromise between price/performance and wear. £64 fitted/balanced and old tyre disposed of is a decent price....see link.

Re: BEST TYRES for SCENIC?

There are many companies to choose from.

I ordered 4 new tyres from ebay. only in February, and ask the local garage to chuck them on for me, they also fitted 4 new glow plugs I bought from gsf carparts, nice lads, just bought them a few beers from Tesco.

Hope this helps.

Im running those on my Mondeo and they are a very good tyre, made by continental, no probs with them dry and wet grip is very good wear so far seems very low done 4500miles and they look like new, I have no hesitation in recomending them.
But if you fit new tyres get a four wheel alliingnment check, it will save you money later
