Megane Tourer 1.9 DCi Check Injection Fault

Hi,

I have recently bought a 2004 04 plate Megane Tourer 1.9 DCi 120 BHP.

It keeps coming up with the warning "CHECK INJECTION", but the car runs faultless. The warning normally appears when idling at traffic lights or stationary in traffic.

I plugged my PCMSCAN software into the car and its come up with the following fault codes:

P0100 : MASS or VOLUME AIR FLOW CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION
P0235 : TURBO BOOST SENSOR A CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION
P2226 : BAROMETRIC PRESSURE CIRCUIT.

As I said, the car runs faultless.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Re: Megane Tourer 1.9 DCi Check Injection Fault

The codes you have a generic and not Renault specific so they may be totally erroneous.

Have you checked the EGR valve - a very common fault on the Dci engines?

Re: Megane Tourer 1.9 DCi Check Injection Fault

well, last night i tried Wynnes EGR3 cleaner.

it seems to be running smoother at idle, not as lumpy. and the check injection warning isnt as regular. so it must have workd abit. should i try another tin of the spray cleaner or strip it down!

thanks
