Question Can't unlock boot of laguna

Hello all. The boot of my laguna has suddenly stopped unlocking. No amount of pressing the key fob will shift it. All the other doors unlock fine - for now at any rate. Do I need to pay a million pounds to get it fixed at a renault dealer or is there a simple way to fix this?
Any help very gratefully received.
Yours hopefully
Rnc

Re: Can't unlock boot of laguna

You'll need to climb inside the boot. Some models have a small hole - others a removable cover and by inserting a screwdrivers and tweeking it around it usually releases the lock. You'll then need to remove the boot lid liner for a closer look - sometimes a good drenching in WD40 or the like helps.
