fuel injection&esp lights up

hi
can anyone help me with my renault laguna 2.0 turbo
(petrol) as the fuel injection and esp light comes on which then puts the car into limp mode.
Currently in Andy33animal's garage:
2003 renault laguna 2.0t

My Laguna 3.0lt had same problem. I took it to an auto electrician to diagnose and they traced the problem to a broken wire near wheel hub. It cost me AUS$200 and problem solved. I hope yours is the as simple.
