Grand Scenic. Where is the Pollen Filter?

Hi,

I hope somebody can help me.

I have a 2005 (54) Grand Scenic, and I am wanting to change the pollen filter.

However I have searched and just cannot find it.

Some of the other posts talk of it being under the foot wel however it just is not there!

I spoke to the dealer, and he seemed to think that it was behing the engine.

Perhaps you may know? I am thinking there must be an easyish process to get it out too.

It is in the glove compartment behind a panel.


Do a search on the Forums under " Pollen Filter " and you will find some help on changing it .

I believe on the Grand Scenic the Pollen filter is in the engine bay. To get better access remove plastic engine cover which just pulls off of 4 clips 2 top and 2 bottom. Then centrally if you get a torch to make it easier to see just above the engine towards the back of the engine bay you should see a black plastic cover about 2 inches high and about 8 inches wide with a catch at each end. Turn the two catches to remove the cover and then gently pull out the filter. It's all a tight fit but apart from that fairly easy

Hi,

Thanks for the help.

I eventually found it, and it was under the bonnet, however it is more above the engine on the bulkhead.

Once I removed the cover I could feel two plastic lugs.

The best way I found to pull it out was to grab the lower one and lift it up. Then it just pulls out.
