Laguna II - Phase I - Dipped headlight bulb replacement (halogen)

I am trying to replace the headlight bulb, removed panels windscreen washer but cannot get the connector off the bulb. any advise please. thank u.

My laguna is a 2002 model. Its the dipped headlight bulb which has a spring around it. I can get at it but cannot remove the connector. There is a black and red wire connector attached but which according to the car manual I must remove first before I remove the spring, but I am afraid to pull at it in case its breaks. Is it the red and black wire I remove or should the connector come away from the bulb? Thank u.

The connector just pulls off like a spade connector would, you then unhook the spring from the top, swivel it back and the bulb pulls out. Remember not to touch the bulb glass.
