Slow to pull off and glow plug light coming on

Hi, my scenic 1.9dci has become slow to pull of and the turbo doesn't kick in untill 3000 revs, im guessing that the glow plug light coming on has something to do with this i think its telling me there is a problem but i don't know what,
any ideas would be welcome.
