Megane Stop Light

Hi all,

I have just driven home and my stop light started flickering intermittently.

Its a 1999 (T) 1.4 RT. The stop light is the one that is just the word STOP.

When I put my handbrake on it comes on solid and stays solid but when driving it flickers for a couple of seconds (quite rapid flicker too) then goes out.

Anyone experienced this or have any ideas what it might be?

Thanks in advance good people.
