can any one tell me the size of the socket needed for a sump plug on a RENAULT MEGANE SCENIC EXPR DCI 2003

Use the Forums search facility input - Sump Plug and it should throw up some info for you

Most renault sump plugs need an 8mm square socket or bar.
Also remember to fit a new washer - Renaults are notorious for leaking sump plugs.
