Megane II Sat Nav

Hello,

Just wondering if there is a geniune sat nav from Renault for the Megane II. I want to stay away from Tom Tom's and such like and have a proper Megane one much like the Laguna ones if this is possible.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

As far as I know built in Sat Nav was never an option on the Megane. I could well be wrong though.

I suspected this to be the case. Just wanted something that would fit in nicely with the car rather than a sat nav that has to be stuck onto the window.

The Renault Carminat sat was def an option on the Megane Scenic II. In what countries exactly I don't know.

The screen unit looks like the Laguna version and sits on the top of the dash.

The controls are different, they lie horizontally just in front of the screen.

If you search for the Carminat service book, you'll find a picture of the unit in there.

I've gone with the NAVSURE N400i in ours

Cheers

Thanks for the reply.

I wonder if that would fit in my Megane, possibly. I was assuming the Megane Sport would of came with one that could be swapped out into mine.
