digital mileage not working..

Hi i have searched on how to fix this but nothing seems to work speedo and rev counter etc all work its just the mileage that ent coming on also there is a digital clock or something on the dash and that dosent work i was thinking maybe a fuse or something but all fuses seem fine i have left the batt disconected over night but its still not working has anyone got any ideas??

also who ever had it before has replaced the battery but im a little suspicious because it dosent seem to fit it just moves around and isnt secure maybe the wrong type of battery?

in a clio its normaly a 063 battery ods are they havn't replaced the bracket and bolt n/s inner wing

You have2 faults. The centre display comes via the radio connection so have you a none standard radio?

The speedo souds like an internal speedo fault

A 98 clio has bulbs behind the mileage dislplay & centre display have you checked them?

Hi. Thanks for the quick replies.
I dont have a standard radio and there are some wires at the back that are not connected. I heard if you hold the mileage button and put the key in it resets and i have done that and it haqs now come on its just very faint.
I reckon if i sort the battery out this may fix it, the batt may be causing it through a bad negative connection like i say its been poorly fitted. its also a bit of a donkey starting up in the mornings, takes a while to get it going. hopefully its just the batt and nothing serious.

Hey! sorted my batt out but mileage still a bit dodgey, comes on but only just about see it and it was 187000 but now has gone to 183000 lol! no idea why or how im gonna have to do alot of driving between now and the MOT its due in April
