*SORTED* Clio II (2003) Headlight Problem - No dipped Beam, Fuses all OK.

Got a new problem with my Clio II - dipped headlights wont work, and I first noticed it last night.

Side lights work, Main beam works, indicators and front/rear fogs all work - this includes the dashboard lights, however, nothing for the dipped beam - no dashboard light for it either.

I have checked the fuses, and they all seem to be ok. I have checked the bulbs, and they all appear ok and not blown.

Netx thing to check was the relay - however, on opening the relay box cover in the engine bay (next to battery) there is no map to say which relay is which, and I cant find anything in the manual.

Any help would be appreciated - either on which relay it could be that controls the headlights, and whether if this was faulty - would that only affect the dipped beam?

Next thing to try is possibly the switch/stalk incase that is faulty, but that will need ordering a part, so its the simpler things I'd rather try first.

Sorted - while browsing on here and the web, found out that the Clio II's headlight relay is in a relay box right behind the glovebox inside the car (well tucked away).

Checked that, and one relay was unseated - pushed it back in and voila... dipped beam working again.

FIXED eventually via youtube video help.

Spent ages troubleshooting and researching same issue with my wife's 2004 Clio Dynamique 16v 1.2 dipped beams not working (main lights; not full beams).

After much time taking out both bulbs, testing them direct from battery, searched many forums etc. All other lights worked except main headlights.

Fixed straight away when I found below link to a youtube video showing how to push the relays back in beneath the glove compartment (stick your head in passenger footwell and look up).

Perhaps would be an idea for Renault to have covered the 'footwell' eh?

Hi guys, any help would be much appreciated.
My problem seems similar but not identical.
Quite frequently, my relay makes a clicking sound and the headlights go off but also the dashboard lights and the windscreen wipers, the indicator lights and the hazard lights. Sometimes is just one click and everything goes off (except for the CD player) and other times it is a quick repetitive clicking noise and the lights quickly go on and off.
Checked the relay (identified the one for the headlights, removed it and everything was working fine, except for the headlights of course) As soon as I put it on, the same problem. There are four relays under the glove compartment and I noticed one of them (which is not the one for the headlights) gets a bit more warmer than the others. All of them seem to be properly inserted in the sockets. Any ideas, please?
Forgot to say the clicking sound comes from under the glove compartment.
