Re: laguna 11 estate boot lock

I am having the same problem on my 2006 Laguna ST, boot wont open and neither will the glass. This is just after heavy rain for 2 days.

this happened before about 8 months ago during heavy rain but after 5 days was fine again.

I have took the switches out of the door and they are fine all the components inside the boot lid are dry and corrosion free, I have tried unplugging each in turn and tried the remaining to no avail.

So I am stumped I cant find any signs of damp or water anywhere.

I did have a problem a couple of months ago where the alarm kept going off and the dash was saying the boot was open this maybe connected.

any suggestions gratefully recieved

Re: laguna 11 estate boot lock

Have you actually taken the boot switch apart, it does part in two sections and then you can examine the contacts which in mine there was green mould so no contact was being made, these need to be cleaned so as to make a good contact.
