how do you turn off engine management light on an 03 Megane?

i have had the problem fixed but the garage wanted £40 to turn the light off which i didnt have, is there any other way of getting it turned off?

hold down trip meter button keep holding while u turn on the ignition keep holding for 10 seconds.hopr this helps Rod

It will depend on why the engine management light illuminated in the first place.

Holding down the trip mode switch wil make the dash go into self-check mode but it won't reset a fault that has been logged by the ECU.
