2000 Scenic II Rear Wiper Not working
The rear wiper in my Scenic has stopped working (opening rear window type).

I have removed the motor and stripped out the cam wheel. I cleaned and degreased the electrical contacts on the cam and refitted. It worked for a couple of strokes then stopped working again.

When I test the voltage at the motor connector (while switched on) the meter reads: pins 1-2 4volts and pins 2-3 4 volts. I must confess that I don't fully understand why there are 3 wires or why the middle wire is lower amperage (thinner) than the other 2.

I suspect a bad connection somewhere, but I don't know where to start or how to test further.

Suggestions would be very much appreciated.
