Squeeky Window Wipers & more

My wipers have started to make squeky noise when i use them. Only the right side one on front window. It looks like it is alos now leaving marks on the screen.

Is it just the blade that needs changing or the entire wiper need 'realigning' or changing?

The other thing is I have noticed that in my Megane 1.6 I have never ever topped up the water. IN other cars I have had I have had to periodically top up the water tank (for the radiator) but for this car the water level never seems to go down, why is this, is it normal. I dont drive that much is that why?

Re: Squeeky Window Wipers & more

have you checked you blades for any splits??? but it probably worth whil changing the blade as they only cost a couple of quid from wilkinson, and they last well:D

as for the water levels not too shure why this would be the case of not using this much and the water level is going down dont seem to make much sense i would defanate get this looked over for any possible signs of leakage!! hope this helps!!!

A new rubber wiper insert may cure the wiper problem - should cost around a couple of quid.

Ideally engines should not use any coolant so don't be concerned - as long as you check it regularly.

If its leaving marks on the screen then it needs replacing, a good clean of the windscreen can also allow the wiper blade to run smoother.
