Re: megane 2000 front outer door trim removal

Hi there.

I haven't done one of these for a while, but is there a retaining screw on the inside edge of the door?

HTH

Not a problem.

I seem to recall there being a screw which once undone & removed allows the trim piece to slide a small amount and the lugs on the inside of the trim to be removed.

Let us know how you fare.

Re: megane 2000 front outer door trim removal

Had a good look today. no little screw. there's a clip under the trim that slots into a small hole in the door on the edge under the lock. looks like you need to lift the end of the trim and use screwdriver or something to lift the clip up and slide the trim at the same time.
didnt manger to do it today as i had no help' i'll try again when i have.
there is a small indent in the door where you described that looks like there could of been a screw on earlier models.
