Reversing switch removal

The reversing switch on the Lag has gone up the swanee. I've got a replacement and can see where it is, but I can't find an easy way of getting at it. The Haynes manual says to remove the airbox, but I don't see how that can help, as the relay/fuse box next to the battery is more in the way than the airbox.
Anyone got any suggestions? Changing the switch is easy, it's just getting to it!

Re: Reversing switch removal

Hi Pat, I've had a look, and they're all to do with the 5 speed box. The switch is in a different place on the 6 speed.

Re: Reversing switch removal

Isn't it on the top of the gearbox, or am I confusing it with a different model. Long socket and extension should do it.
